EMMA LAWRENCE

I'm Emma - a fourth-year film student who prioritizes your laughter and discomfort. I've been a director, writer, and editor for fifteen years. While my peers were on the playground, I spent my childhood behind the screen of my family's 2009 iMac, learning how to edit my films on iMovie. Since then, I've become proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve.

 

During my time at Cal Poly Humboldt, I have pitched, written, directed, and edited over six films, including You Don't Know Jack, which screened at the 57th Annual Humboldt International Film Festival. In 5 Days, my most recent release and largest project thus far is pending acceptance over ten festivals. My Capstone film, What Sits Between Us, is scheduled to shoot in early April and release in May.
